As a Christian, I believe the Bible to be the 100% truth and the living word of God.

These are the accounts of  The Death by crucifixion and The Resurrection of Jesus Christ by his apostles: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

As Christians we celebrate The Resurrection of Christ Jesus on Easter Sunday actually everyday.  What this means to me:

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me".

It is a time when we reflect on the shame and indignity Jesus endured for us.  He died for our sins so that we could live in him. He endured what we deserve. (All of us)

We must abandon our own will and desires.  Christ has a better plan for our life.
How do we find solace in the death to our own will and desires?

1 Cor. 2:9-10
However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those
who love him"-
But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.  The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

We can not conceive what the Lord has prepared for us who love (Obey) him.
If we love Him, we obey.

John 14:15-18
If you love me, you will obey what I command.  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever- the Spirit of truth.  The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.  I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

When we obey he gives us the Holy Spirit.

We must decide what we want most.  To be conformed to this world or to Christ.  It is the biggest decision we will make in our lives.  We are choosing life or death.

Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse.  Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live.

I am thankful I am not where I once was.  He has paid the price and bought a new life for me in him.  Nothing will ever be the same. I am not where I want to be, but I have a new hope, and it is in Jesus Christ. It won't be easy, but it WILL be worth it.

This is not all of it- just in an egg shell.

Happy Easter.

Not sure about the rest of it:  Egg laying bunny, coloring eggs, hunting them, and Ham- but I enjoy that too:)
